Rockford Scanner™: Dead Body On The East Side, Police Investigating




 

Sources are reporting a dead body in Rockford. 

Details are minimal right now.   Sources said there is a person dead in the 1400 block of 8th ave. Emergency personnel are on scene. 

No other information at this time. 

Update: Sources said it is possibly medical related, and no foul play.








 

Rockford Scanner™: Three People Injured After A Stabbing At Grubsteakers




 

On 06/18/19 at 2043 hours Ogle County Sheriff’s Office responded to a disturbance at Grubsteakers, Rt. 251 and Rt 64.

Responding deputy located a male who bleeding profusely from a stab wound to the leg and immediately provided medical attention to him.

A second male, identified as William Shively age 36 of Ocala, FL, was also on scene and had minor injuries was taken into custody.

A female on scene had minor injuries from an altercation with Shively.

All three subjects were transported to Rochelle Community Hospital and treated for their injuries.

After further investigation, Shively was charged with aggravated battery, criminal damage to property, and battery. Shively was transported to Ogle County Jail where he remained in lieu of bond.

It happened around 4:45 pm today in the 100 block of N Trainer rd.

There is an accident with multiple injuries being reported at this accident scene.  Unknown on the severity of the injuries. We have been told the injuries are non life threatening, but that is currently unconfirmed.

You may want to avoid the area for a few hours, or expect delays.

Sources are reporting a bad accident that happened earlier today in the area of Perryville and Riverside. 

One of the vehicles that was involved in the accident, has rolled over onto its side. Unknown if extrication was needed.

Injuries were being reported. At the time of writing this it was not yet known on the severity of the injuries.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.

Rockford Scanner™: Pedestrian Hit by A Vehicle In Rockford




 

Sources are reporting a pedestrian has been hit by a vehicle in Rockford. 

It happened around 2:45 pm today in the area of Harrison ave and 20th.

A black male was laying on the ground after being hit by a vehicle. The vehicle stopped at the scene along with another vehicle that helped to assist.

Unknown on the severity of the injuries.

 








 

Rockford Scanner™: Fully Engulfed Semi Trailer Near Roscoe




 

Sources are reporting a fully engulfed trailer on fire.

It happened around 4:30 am on I-90 near the mile marker 6 in the eastbound lanes.  A semi trailer is on fire near this location.  The cab was able to disconnect from the trailer. The trailer is fully engulfed.
