A driver in a truck has crashed and taken out a utility pole near Sandy Hollow.

Reports of the driver has fled the scene, but as you know the local police are encrypted so that is not confirmed. Unknown on injuries.

Sources are reporting a bad accident on the East Side. 

It happened in the area of 9th and Reed.

A vehicle crashed into 2 vehicles before crashing into a residence.

Injuries were being reported, unknown on the severity of the injuries.

Witnesses said one person was in handcuffs, unknown why at this time.

Police were chasing a blue vehicle in the area of Pearl and 20 in Boone County.  Unknown if they were able to catch the suspects.

Sources are reporting an automobile accident with injuries in Rockford.

It happened on Parkview near the Anderson Gardens.

A vehicle has crashed into a tree near this location. Injuries were being reported but it is not yet known on the severity of the injuries.

The driver was crawling out of the vehicle and witnesses at the scene believe he might be under the influence but it is not yet confirmed.

The cause of the accident is under investigation

Several sources are reporting a scene on the East side around 2:30 pm today. 

We have been told this is another shooting scene. But again we can not confirm it due to the encryption. Several sources have reported it to be a shooting scene.

It happened around 2:30 pm today near 15th st and  16th ave.

No other information at this time

UPDATE:  Admin Will went to work the scene, no police were on scene.
So it was unfounded or cleared up.

Rockford Scanner™: Several Emergency Personnel En Route To A Fire in Loves Park


Sources are reporting a fire in Loves Park.

It happened around 12:40 PM today in the 2100 block of Nimtz. A truck took down a powerline to a structure. Then it caught the structure on fire.

Unknown nine injuries at this time. Several emergency personnel are in route to the scene. This is still developing no other information at this time

Rockford Scanner™: Victim Shot in Rockford, Police Investigating


Rockford police released information today on a shooting that happened on Friday.

On Friday, May 31 at approximately 10:30 PM the Rockford Police Department responded to the 400 block of S. Henrietta St. in reference to a weapons violation.

Upon their arrival officers located a vehicle struck by gunfire. While they were investigating a 27-year-old male shooting victim arrived at a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The victim was shot in the arm.

Officer learned a large group of people had gathered in a parking lot when an argument occurred. A male suspect then fired several gunshots and then fled the scene on foot.

At approximately 12:30 AM on Saturday the Rockford police scope officers located the suspect later identified as 46-year-old Murphy Doss, In the 500 block of Howard Avenue. He was taken into custody.

The Winnebago County states Attorney’s office reviewed the case and authorize the following charges: Aggravated discharge of a firearm x2, Unlawful use of a weapon by a felon, unlawful use of weapons by a gang member, no Foid card.

He was lodged in the Winnebago County jail. The charges against him are merely accusations he is considered innocent until proven guilty in the court of law


Rockford Scanner™: Stabbing victim in Rockford, Rockford police are investigating

Aggravated battery with a knife

on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at approximately 5:15 AM the Rockford Police Department were called to the 1400 block of Garden Court in reference to a stabbing.

Upon their arrival officers learned a 30-year-old female and a 31-year-old male who had a domestic relationship were inside a residence when they got into an argument. The female stabbed the male in both his arms, And she sustained a laceration to her hand. Both were transported to a local emergency room with non-life-threatening injuries.

The female later identified as 30-year-old the Laprica Wilder, Was taken into custody.The Winnebago County states Attorney’s office reviewed the case and authorize the following charges: aggravated battery with a knife, aggravated domestic battery. She was lodged in the Winnebago County jail. The charges against her are merely accusations she is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law
