Rockford Scanner™: Shooting scene on Rockford’s east side, Near the Rockford police district 3 headquarters

Several sources are reporting a shooting scene on Rockford Eastside.

It happened around 9 PM in the area of Post Drive.

At least four gunshots were heard.

Sources are reporting at least one shooting victim at the scene. It is not yet known on the severity of the injuries of the victim at this time.

No suspect information at this time. This is still developing.

Several sources are reporting a bad accident near I 90 and East State Street near the old clock tower.

Reports of at least three vehicles are involved in multiple injuries are being reported. We been told some of the injuries might be pretty serious but officials have yet to confirm that.

The cause of the accident was under investigation


Rockford Scanner™: Vehicle Crashes Into A House In Loves Park, Extrication Needed

Sources are reporting a vehicle has crashed into a house in Loves Park.

It happened around 3:40 pm today in the 2200 block of Evans ave.

Reports of a vehicle that has crashed into a house near this location.

The driver had a medical issue, and crashed into the house.

Extrication is being requested.

Extensive damage is being reported.  The vehicle has crashed into the front of the house.  The building department is being requested to the scene.

Rockford Scanner™: Accident Involving A 4 Wheeler & A Truck in Rockford

Sources are reporting a 4-wheeler accident in Rockford.

It happened around 12:30 pm today near Del Mar and Eggleston.
That is near Charles st and Alpine, south east of there.

A truck and a 4 wheeler have collided near this location. The subject on the 4 wheeler has injuries. It is not yet known on the severity of the injuries at this time. The cause of the accident is under investigation.

Sources are reporting a church that is on fire in Stillman Valley.

It happened around 9 am this morning near 103 S Maple in Stillman Valley, at the Valley Evangelical Covenant

Reports of a fire at the church.

Several area fire departments are en route to assist with the call.

They have it parked out at the Rockford Airport until Sunday afternoon.

Every hour it is reported to go for a flight, starting at 10 AM.

Rockford Scanner™: Small Fire In A Residence in Loves Park

UPDATE: Around 11 AM this morning, several emergency personnel were on scene of a structure fire at the same residence that caught on fire just hours before (See below) . This time it appears to be a total loss. Unknown on injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation. The State Fire Marshall is en route to the scene.

Sources are reporting a fire in Loves Park.

It happened shortly after 1 am in the 5200 block of Rockville Circle.

That is located in the Forest Hills Village.

Reports of a fire in the kitchen area of the residence. It was quickly contained. Unknown on injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Sources are reporting a teen has been stabbed in Rockford.

Reports of a teen that was stabbed around midnight in the 1400 block of Green st in Rockford. Unknown on the severity of the injuries.

The suspect is a 14 year old black female, wearing all white.
Last seen fleeing the scene on foot.
