Rockford Scanner™: 2 Month Drug Investigation Leads To An Arrest




The Belvidere/Boone County Metro Narcotics Unit concludes a two month drug investigation with the arrest of a Rockford resident on felony Drug Charges. The Belvidere/Boone County Metro Narcotics Unit was assisted by the Rockford Police Department with this investigation.

On Sunday April 6th, 2019, Terrell D. Sockwell, age 33, was arrested in Winnebago County on an arrest warrant obtained by the Belvidere/Boone County Metro Narcotics Unit. Sockwell has been charged with three counts of Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Class 1 Felony). Sockwell remains in custody of the Winnebago County Jail.

A class 1 felony is punishable by 4-15 years in the Department of Corrections.
