Rockford Scanner™: Several Officers Working A Scene Near Sinnissippi Park

Sources are reporting a scene on N Second st.

It happened around 10 PM tonight on N Second st in the southbound lanes near Auburn/Spring Creek ramp.

Several cops are on scene, at least 5 officers.

It is not yet clear what happened.  Sources said it appears to be a traffic stop but several officers are searching the vehicle.

No other information is available.

Sources are reporting an accident in Machesney park.

It happened this evening near 6821 N 2nd St, Machesney Park, IL at Plan B Tires.

Unknown on injuries.

Sources said the occupant tried to run, but police were able to detain the person.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.

Rockford Scanner™: Nipsey Hussle Has Been Shot & Killed in California

Rapper Nipsey Hussle was shot and killed outside his clothing store in the Hyde Park neighborhood of South Los Angeles Sunday, while two other people were also injured, NBC News reported.

The shooting occurred at approximate 3:20 p.m. in the 3400 block of Slauson Avenue, Mike Lopez of the Los Angeles Police Department said. Lopez said that it was an ongoing investigation, no one had been detained and the suspect or suspects remained at large.

The shooting took place outside The Marathon Clothing Company, a clothing store owned by Hussle. The rapper was one of the three people shot, and Nipsey Hussle was pronounced dead at the hospital, sources told NBC4

Sources are reporting a gas leak at a Loves Park business.

It happened around 7 pm at the Walgreens at N Second and Riverside.

There is reports of a natural gas odor inside the store.

They have evacuated. No reports of injuries.

Sources are reporting a rollover accident in Boone County

It happened around 6:40 pm near Beaverton rd in Boone County.

Unknown on injuries at the time of writing this.

The vehicle has rolled over onto it’s roof.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.

Rockford Scanner™: Apartment Fire With Possible Injuries in Rockford, Still Developing


Sources are reporting an apartment fire in Rockford.

It happened around 5:30 pm in the 500 block of N Main.

Reports of an apartment on fire on the 3rd floor of the building.

Several units from the Rockford Fire Department are en route

Smoke and flames  are showing from the outside, on the 3rd floor.

One person has suffered injuries. RFD said non life threatening injuries. The woman was transported to a local ER for burns. Some pets were also injured (burned) in the fire.

A candle is believed to have been the cause of the fire,  RFD is investigating.

Several sources  are reporting a fight at a local Walmart.

It happened this afternoon approx. 3 pm at the Walmart on Northridge.

Reports of a man approx. 50 years old and a woman were fighting at the Walmart.

Unknown on injuries. The incident is being investigated by the RPD. RPD has yet to release any information. No other information at this time.

Sources are reporting a fire on the West side this afternoon.

This one happened this afternoon in the 200 block of Cameron.

Reports of a stove that caught on fire. The fire was quickly extinguished. Unknown on injuries. The extent of the damage is not yet known.
