Sources are reporting a rollover accident in Loves Park.

UPDATE: Vehicle hit a pole and some utility lines are down. No injuries and no extrication needed. Comed is en route.

It happened around 9:05 pm in the 600 block of E Pearl.

Reports of an auto accident near this location. A vehicle involved has rolled over. Possible extrication is needed. Injuries are being reported. The cause of the accident is under investigation. Still developing.


Rockford Scanner™: Vehicle Crashes Into A Tree, Injuries Being Reported

Sources are reporting a vehicle has crashed into a tree this afternoon on Rockford’s West side.

It happened in the 1500 block of Halsted.

Injuries were being reported.  We been told the injuries were serious but it is not yet clear if they were life threatening.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.


Rockford Scanner™: Local McDonalds Is OnFire, Still Developing

Sources are reporting a fire at a local Mcdonalds.

It happened around 1:30 pm today at the Mcdonalds on W Riverside.

Reports of visible fire and flames in the ceiling of the building.

They have evacuated the building. No injuries.

Rockford Fire Department just arrived on scene.

Rockford Scanner™: Two police officers injured during a police chase in Rockford

Rockford police just release information on an incident that happened over the weekend that injured two police officers.

It happened Saturday night just before 7 PM, Rockford police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for improper lane usage and speeding near N. Central Ave. and W. Jefferson St.

A Rockford police K-9 unit then conducted a check of the vehicle, which alerted officers to possible narcotics. The suspect was later identified as 32-year-old Deangelo Statam who fled on foot.

After a brief foot chase and a scuffle with the Rockford Police Department, he was taken into custody in the 200 block of N. Central Ave.

During the foot chase he discarded an item,  and the Rockford police were able to recover it and contain a substance believed to be crack cocaine.

During the incident two officers were injured and treated at a local hospital.


Rockford Scanner™: Hit & Run in Rockford, Injuries Reported.

Source is reporting a hit and run in Rockford.  It happened yesterday in the area of Mulford and Newburg. Suspect is a black female that is driving a Sante Fe. The suspect pulled into a nearby parking lot after the accident and took off her license plates.  Last seen near Mulford and Garret trying to fix her front end of her vehicle. Injuries were reported.
