South Beloit PD:

On June 20, 2018 we made a Facebook post asking for assistance with two commercial burglaries. One of the burglaries occurred on June 10th at approximately 4am at Bubbles and Bows, 834 Gardner Street. Evidence recovered from the scene led investigators to identify Nicholas Munoz as the suspect. Upon review by the Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s Office an arrest warrant for burglary was authorized.

On February 14, 2019 South Beloit and Beloit Police located Munoz at a residence in the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue in Beloit where he was taken into custody. Munoz is lodged in the Rock County Jail awaiting extradition to Winnebago County.

Arrested: Nicholas Munoz, H/M, 28 years of age, Beloit resident.
Charge: Burglary – Bond $200,000.00

The South Beloit Police Department would like to thank the Illinois State Police Crime Scene Unit and Crime Lab for assisting on this investigation.

The charges against Munoz are accusations and he is considered innocent until proven guilty.
