- We been told a local police officer was involved in this accident at N Second and Auburn/Spring Creek. We are awaiting to hear back from RPD for confirmation and more info. .
- Source is reporting major snow drifts along Route 2 near Gleasman, still as of midnight. Police said many roads that are North/South and are out in the country areas are heavily drifted in some areas and they want you to exercise caution if you have to travel tonight and tomm.
Sources are reporting 2 major scenes in the area.
N Second st near Auburn is currently shut down due to a scene near this location. They were diverting traffic, but we just been told it is now shut down.
We been told this is a serious accident involving at least 7 vehicles, via sources. Caused by slippery road conditions.

Carol Holliday-Werntz: “Yes…someone hit the officer”s car and the officer’s car then hit our son’s car…who was picking up his wife who had rolled her car over a bit earlier.”
Also N Main near Gleasman, is another scene and is causing major traffic delays in this area as well.
Emergency personnel are saying the roadways are extremely slippery.
