Snowfall amounts Monday night into Tuesday

A wintry mix will start Monday afternoon then accumulating snow and freezing rain are expected Monday Night into Tuesday

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM MONDAY TO 4 PM CST TUESDAY…

* WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 6
inches. Some freezing rain may mix with the snow south Tuesday
night. The snow will likely be very wet.

* WHERE…Winnebago, Boone, McHenry, Lake IL and Ogle Counties.

* WHEN…From 9 PM Monday to 4 PM CST Tuesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Plan on slippery road conditions. The
hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday morning commute.
