Sources are reporting a local pool hall was robbed at gunpoint today.

At approximately 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2018, officers from the Rockford Police Department responded to an armed robbery at the Rockford Billiards Café on N. Main St. Investigating officers determined that the suspect walked into the business, and pointed a handgun at the bartender. The suspect was able to leave the business with an unknown amount of cash.

Rockford Police Department confirmed there was a robbery at the Rockford billiards at 1436 N. Main St.

There is no suspect information due to the encryption and police  have yet to release any information.

We were told there was injuries, we cannot yet confirm that.
