Sources reporting their vehicle has been stolen:
Could you please share that our car has been stolen in front of the house and be on the lookout for 4 black males in a silver vehicle,that’s been stealing cars in the area. Police has been contacted. The winter wheels are on the car now and are grey in color with peeling on the wheels all 4 windows are tinted car was stolen in the Huffman Blvd area.

Shooting at 9 am on Orchard and School.

A 30 year old male was rushed to the er with life threatening injuries.

As you know police are encrypted, unknown on suspect information.

And not a peep in the police call logs, RPD has yet to release information on this

  • Three police cars with lights and sirens and ambulance at home in Old Orchard subdivision on Ingram at 8:20 pm.
  • Saw 6 squads and crime scene van.
    We been told by sources this is a robbery to Kinney’s Pump House at 502 Center St, Durand, IL, but not confirmed
  • Battery victim in the 500 block of N Main
  • 11900 block of Wagon Wheel, several officers in the area. Shots were heard just prior to their arrival.

As you know, the police are encrypted and have yet (and probably won’t) release any information on these calls.

It happened around 6:20 pm tonight in the 1200 block of S. 5th st in Rockford.

Victim was shot in the back.

No suspect information, due to the encryption.

RPD confirmed they were investigating a weapons violation near this location

Sources are reporting a man not breathing in the 500 block of Park Place. The victim is a male approx. 50 years old.  Rockford Fire Department is requesting the police to get there quickly with lights and sirens, unknown why at this time.  Unknown what happened to the male victim.

Rockford Scanner™: Rockford Fire Department Battling A Vacant House Fire

Sources are reporting the Rockford Fire Department is currently battling a vacant house fire on the East side.

Reports of a vacant house on fire near the area of 3205 Lepay st.

Smoke was visible coming from the residence. RFD laid a booster line to battle the fire and were doing an offensive attack on the fire.

Unknown on injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Sources are reporting another home invasion in Rockford.

This one happened around 5:35 pm tonight on Brooke rd in Rockford.

Two black male suspects. One was 6 foot wearing a grey hoodie and a multi colored hat. Second one is 5’11 stocky build wearing a black jacket.

They were last seen in the area of Barnum

Rockford Scanner™: House Struck Numerous Times By Gunfire in Rockford

On 12/8/18 at around 2:30A.M. Rockford Police responded to the 600 block of Trenton Ave in reference to shots fired in the area.  Upon arrival officers located one home that was struck by gunfire multiple times.  The home was occupied at the time but no injuries were reported.

No suspect information is available at this time.  This is an ongoing investigation and  anyone with information is encouraged to call the Rockford Police Department or Crime Stoppers.

On 12/07/2018 at 1727 hours, members of the Rockford Police Department responded to Rockford Memorial Hospital for a walk in shooting victim.

Rockford Police met with a 20 year old victim of the shooting , who suffered a gunshot wound to his left arm.

The victim was uncooperative with Rockford Police on the facts and location of this shooting.  The victim was treated and released from Rockford Memorial Hospital for the gunshot wound.  This investigation is ongoing.

Police arrest counterfeit money suspects

On 12-7-18 at 4:30 PM Janesville Police responded to Woodman’s Grocery for a subject attempting to pass a counterfeit $100 bill. The suspects left prior to officer arrival in a black 2009 Nissan Cube. Officers later located this vehicle parked in the Target store parking lot occupied by a subject sitting in the driver’s seat later identified as Kierre Washington.

In plain view officers saw additional $100 bills located in the door pockets and cup holders. While Washington was being taken into custody another subject exited Target and was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit. The second subject was identified as Tysean Pollard.

After searching the vehicle, $1100.00 of counterfeit $100 bills, paper with $100 counterfeit currency printed on it, and a small printer were recovered as evidence. Also recovered was $1098.00 of real US Currency.

It was later discovered six businesses in all were hit by these subjects which included Woodman’s Grocery, Target, Kohl’s, Festival Foods, Walmart, and Shopko. Both Pollard and Washington were arrested and held at the Rock County Jail pending an initial court appearance.

Arrested: Pollard, Tysean J. age 17 of Madison, WI
Charge: 943.38(2) Forgery 6 counts

Washington, Kierre M. age 18 of Madison, WI
Charge: 943.28(2)/939.05(2)(C) Party to crime/Forgery 6 counts

Pursuant to the directive of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, as found in Supreme Court Rule 20:3:6 Trial Publicity, you are advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
