Reports of a structure fire in the 7800 block of Scott ln

Several fire departments are en route to assist.

Smoke is confirmed showing.

Several sources reporting a lot of emergency personnel working a scene in S Beloit around 5 pm today.

It happened at Neli’s Family Restaurant  at 1055 Gardner in S Beloit

At the time of writing this, it is not yet known what happened.

Police said it was an “In Progress Person”

Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol
On 11/17/2018 Ogle County Deputies responded to the 10128 block of East Illinois Route 72 for a vehicle in the ditch. After an investigation Tiffany R Fabish, age 33 from Davis Junction was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Fabish was also cited for Improper Lane Usage, Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle, Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Fabish was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond.


Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol
On 11-16-18 at 8:15 pm, Deputies responded to a hit and run on Gristmill Road east of Chana Road in rural Chana. While canvassing the area Deputies located the offending vehicle. After a short investigation, Trei Sanders age 24 of Freeport was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving While License Suspended. Sanders was also cited for Leaving the Scene of an Accident. Sanders was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

Several sources were reporting a lot of emergency personnel working a scene last night in the 6100 block of Valhalla Drive in Loves Park  just after 2:30 am. That is near Perryville/Mulford area

Police said it was an “In Progress Person: Shooting, Stabbing, Robbery, Kidnapping, Death”

UPDATE. Fire at 409 7th Street is under control and most companies have been released. Fire was in an apartment on the third floor and Multiple Alarms were needed to bring additional personnel to the scene. Fire Investigators continue to work to determine origin and cause.


UPDATE: 400 7th Street. Fire found on 3rd floor and in attic space. Additional engines called to scene. A total of 5 engines and 3 ladders are on scene. – at downtown Rockford


Overnight around 1:40 am the Rockford Fire is on scene at 400 7th Street for a reported structure fire. First arriving unit states there is smoke visible and possibly the fire is on the roof.

Sources are reporting overnight a little after 2 am there was a home invasion in Rockford.

RPD said “No comment”
RPD call log says “In Progress Property: Home Invasion”

Sources told us there was a home invasion.

It happened near the intersection of Central ave and Andrews.

Sources are reporting  there was a shooting victim at Swedish American hospital around 10 pm last night. And several officers were on scene.

RPD confirmed they had “other disorderly conduct” call via their call log.  And in the past the local police have labeled shooting victims as other disorderly conducts in their call logs.

At this time, we can only confirm there was local police working a scene at Swedish American hospital around 10 pm.  RPD is saying via their call log it was “other disorderly conduct”  and sources are saying it was a shooting victim.

On 11/17/18 around 10:30 pm Rockford Police Officers responded to a local Hospital for a shooting victim. The victim advised he was shot near the intersection of N. Henrietta Ave and Jefferson St. while he was sitting in a vehicle.  He was treated for non-life threatening injuries.  No suspect description was provided.  This is as ongoing investigation.  Anyone with information can call the Rockford Police at 815-966-2900.


Sources are reporting a shooting victim in Rockford.

It happened in the 300 block of N Henrietta around 10:30 pm.

Unknown on the severity of the injuries.  We been told life threatening but we can not yet confirm this.
