Rockford Scanner®: Suspects Use A Bat To Rob A Rockford Store

On 11/17/2018, at around 2:00AM, officers from the Rockford Police Department were dispatched to the Papa John’s, 2975 N Perryville Rd, in regards to an armed robbery to the business.

Officers met with two employees who reported that two suspects entered the restaurant, armed with weapons and demanded money from them. The suspects obtained cash and a phone from the business and fled the area in a dark colored 4 door vehicle.

No injuries were reported during the robbery.

The suspects were described as follows:

Suspect #1 Black male, approximately 25 years old, 6’00” tall, thin build, wearing jeans, a white t shirt, black hooded sweatshirt and a facial covering–armed with a handgun.

Suspect #2 Black male, approximately 25 years old, 6’00” tall, medium build, wearing dark jeans, dark hooded sweatshirt, and a facial covering-armed with a baseball bat.

Anyone with information on this robbery is urged to contact the Rockford Police Department.
