  2. Belvidere rd and West lane (173)  Injuries were reported.



Rockford Scanner™: Another Citizen Robbed in Rockford, Police Ask For Publics Help With Locating The Suspect




On 11/03/18 at 12:41 AM Officers responded to 1609 S. Alpine Road in reference to an armed robbery to citizen. The victim was in the parking lot walking to his car when he was approached by a vehicle. A suspect exited the vehicle, displayed a handgun, and demanded money from the victim. The suspect obtained an undetermined amount of USC from the victim and fled in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a black male in his twenties, 5’07” tall, 150 pounds, wearing a black mask, black hooded sweatshirt, and black jeans. The victim was not injured during the incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Rockford Police Department or Winnebago County Crime Stoppers.

NWS: Fair weather is expected though much of today. A chance for rain will return to the area this evening and overnight, then widespread showers are expected on Sunday as a cold front moves across the region. Windy conditions are also expected on Sunday.



Rockford Scanner™: Two Vehicle Rollover Accident near Roscoe



Update from the HRFD: On 11-1-18 Harlem Roscoe Fire was called for a two vehicle rollover accident in the area of Bridge and 251. When crews arrived they found a vehicle off the road that had rolled over during the accident but was upright. The truck remained on the street. Rockford Scanner™: Vehicle crashes into a field, Possible extrication needed



Around 5:30 AM several emergency personnel responded to an automobile accident with injuries with possible extrication.

Initial reports are saying it vehicle crashed into a field near Owen center. The victim was reported to be trapped and injured inside the vehicle.

When emergency personnel arrived on scene they said the vehicle was in the field with moderate damage, but the driver was not trapped so extrication was not needed. The driver was injured but it is not yet known on the severity of the injuries.

The cause of the accident is under investigation
