Rockford Scanner™: One Person Taken Into Custody, Possible Stabbing Suspect




There was a serious stabbing incident in Rockford.

While we were at the stabbing scene, several officers left the stabbing scene in a hurry, headed northbound on N Main.

The police detained a person at the Mobil station just North of the stabbing scene. (As you can see in the video above)

At the time of writing this, all we can confirm is several police officers have taken one person into custody at the Mobil station on  N Main, just south of the wreck-it-round-a-bout. (Just North of the stabbing scene)

We tried to talk to the officers and get information after they quickly whisked the person away in the transport van, but police refused to talk to us.

So at this time, it is not yet known if this is the suspect in the stabbing or if this is a different incident.

 







Rockford Scanner™: Possible Fatal Stabbing in Rockford, Still Developing




UPDATE: Our sources are reporting this is the alleged suspect in the stabbing.

Alleged Suspect: 18-year-old Carlos Hardt
He is charged with aggravated battery and has no bond. His next court date is today at 1:30 pm

  • Location: 935 N. Main St #404 Rockford, IL

On Monday 10/22/2018 at 9:18 pm, Rockford Police responded to 935 N. Main St #404 in reference to an aggravated battery involving a knife.  It was learned that the tenant was inside of his apartment with a male acquaintance.  An argument ensued and a knife was involved.  The tenant was transported to a local hospital.  The male acquaintance was located and interviewed.  This is an on-going investigation.

The victim had an argument with the suspect .During the argument, a knife  was pulled and the victim was stabbed in the chest.

Police located the alleged suspect (Possibly the man in the link above, but not confirmed) and has interviewed the man. No charges have been filed as of yet. RPD are investigating.

No update on the victims condition.

Rockford Scanner™: Suspects Break Into A Church, Vandalize Church & Steal Items


On Sunday 10-21-18 the Rochelle Police Department responded to the First Presbyterian Church, located at 1100 Calvin Road, reference a burglary.

Upon arrival officers located the point of entry, and several areas of damage within the building. The offenders stole an I-pad from an office area.

The Illinois State Police Crime Scene Unit processed the scene for trace evidence.

Anyone with information about this crime is urged to call the Ogle-Lee Crime Stoppers at 1-888-228-4488. Rewards of up to $1000.00 are paid for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the offenders.

 

 







Rockford Scanner™: Accident With Injuries in Loves Park



 

 

 

Just before 6 pm tonight, several emergency personnel were responding to an accident with injuries in Loves Park.

It happened at Perryville and Mulford. Yes, they do intersect.

Multiple vehicles are reported to be involved.

Unknown on the severity of the injuries.

Traffic is backed up, avoid the area

Unknown if it is related, but theres also reports of another accident scene near Riverside and Mulford as well

 







Rockford Scanner™: Several Officers Working A Scene On The East Side



 

 

 

This  after noon several police officers were working a scene near Kishwaukee and Broadway.  At the time of writing this, it is not yet know exactly what happened (Due to the encryption)  All we can confirm is several officers working a scene near this location.

We have been told it appeared to be a drug bust, stolen vehicle recovery, shooting suspect, etc… As you can see, noone knows yet.

Rockford Scanner™: BREAKING NEWS: Body Found Near The Airport



UPDATE:

Winnebago County Coroner has identified the body as 58-year-old Randy Wilder. The coroner said he was homeless but from the Rockford area. Autopsy is pending and toxicology will take around 3 weeks.


 


Around 10 am several emergency personnel were responding to a body found in Rockford.
