Rockford Scanner™: Three D.N.R. Snowmobile Safety Education Courses beginning in October 2018



 

 

 

Sheriff Spoden is pleased to announce the Rock County Sheriff’s Office will be offering, three D.N.R. Snowmobile Safety Education Courses beginning in October 2018. Anyone born on or after Jan 1st, 1985 is required to complete this course in order to legally operate a snowmobile in places open to the public.

There is a class fee of $10.00 per student, which will be collected at the time of registration. A parent/guardian signature is required for all persons under the age of 18 and the underage student must be present with an adult parent or guardian at time of registration.
Class size is limited to thirty (30) students. After completing the online enrollment form, you will receive an email with confirmation and the mandatory class registration information.

Class #1:
Mandatory Registration: October 29th, at 6:00 p.m. @ Rock County Sheriff’s Office
Class: November 10th, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. @ Rock County Job Center

Class #2:
Mandatory Registration: November 26th, at 6:00 p.m. @ Rock County Sheriff’s Office
Class: December 8th, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. @ Rock County Job Center

Class #3:
Mandatory Registration January 7th, 2019, at 6:00 p.m. @ Rock County Sheriff’s Office
Class: January 19th, 2019, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. @ Rock County Job Center
