On 10-09-18 Robert Bockman, age 37, of Dekalb was arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrant. The warrant was for Driving While License Suspended. Bockman had a bond of $50,000.00/10 %. Bockman will return to court on 10-10-18 at 1300 hours.

On 10-09-18 Jacob Belter, age 26, of Stillman Valley was arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrant. The warrant was for Failure to Appear. Belter had a bond of $1,020 Full Cash. Belter will return to court on 10-10-18 at 1300 hours.

On 10-09-18 Sarah Hensley, age 32, of Dekalb was arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrant. The warrant was for Failure to Appear. Hensley had a bond of $2,045 Full Cash. Hensley will return to court on 10-10-18 at 1300 hours.

On 10-09-18 Yair Mejia- Gomez, age 20, of Dekalb was arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrant. The warrant was for Failure to Appear. Mejia-Gomez had a bond of $401 Full Cash. Mejia- Gomez will return to court on 10-10-18 at 1300 hours.

On 10-09-18 Michael Hecathorn, age 55, of Polo was arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrant. The warrant was for Failure to Appear. Hecathorn had a bond of $456 Full Cash. Hecathorn will return to court on 10-10-18 at 1300 hours.

On 10-09-18 Scott James, age 47, of Oregon was arrested for Ogle County Outstanding Warrant. The warrant was for Failure to Appear. James had a bond of $161 Full Cash. James will return to court on 10-10-18 at 1300 hours.

EXPLOITATION ARREST: A Rockford man faces charges after a weeks-long investigation. Detectives from the Sensitive Crimes Unit conducted an investigation after a juvenile walking to Gregory School (4820 Carol Court) on September 19, 2018, reported that a man exposed himself to her.

On Tuesday, October 9, 2018, officers took 26-year-old Darren Coleman into custody. The Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s Office reviewed the case and authorized the below listed charges.

Darren Coleman, 26, Rockford: Sexual Exploitation of a Child (2 Counts)

Coleman was lodged in the Winnebago County Jail. The charges against Coleman are merely accusations. He is considered innocent unless proven guilty in court.

 

 







Rockford Scanner™: Motorcycle Accident With Injuries, Driver Hit The Motorcyclist And Fled The Scene

Around 3:35 pm today several emergency personnel were responding to a motorcycle accident.

It happened in the 3500 block of Kishwaukee. Near Riverdahl School

Reports of a motorcycle accident with injuries.

Unknown on the severity of the injuries.

Unknown if it happened at the school, or near the school.

This is a hit and run to the motorcyclist. No suspect information due to the encryption.

Avoid the area

Update: Cierra Smith Umm: “the person that fled didn’t hit the man on the bike the car in front of the man slammed they brakes n made him fall back on the car in the back of him, coming from someone who seen it”

 







Rockford Scanner™: Shots Fired, Police Arrest One For A Weapon And Another For Marijuana

SHOTS FIRED ARRESTS: On Saturday, October 6, 2018 shortly after midnight, Rockford Police officers responded to the 1900 block of South 5th Street in reference to shots fired. Upon arrival, officers located a vehicle in the area with two male occupants and a female occupant.

The vehicle was searched, and officers located a loaded firearm. Officers also learned the female passenger was wanted on a warrant, and found her to be in possession of a substance believed to be cannabis

. All three suspects were taken into custody. The Winnebago County State’s Attorney’s office reviewed the case and authorized the below listed charges.

Aldridge Nolan Jr., 20, Rockford: Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, No FOID

Aurelious Friar, 18, Rockford: Possession of Cannabis, Failure to Appear (Warrant)

The 20-year-old male driver was released with a citation. Nolan and Friar were lodged in the Winnebago County Jail. The charges against them are merely accusations. Both Nolan and Friar are considered innocent unless proven guilty in court.
