Sources reporting yet another armed robbery in Rockford


UPDATE: On 10/1/18 at 9:52 pm Rockford Police Officers responded to an armed robbery in the 1300 block of Ashland Ave. The victims were walking to their vehicle which was parked on the street when two suspects approached them.  The suspect grabbed the victims and pointed a gun at them before going through their pockets and taking property.  The suspects then fled the area eastbound on foot.  No injuries were reported.

The suspects were described as follows:

Suspect 1 – Black male, 5’8”, 20’s, 140lbs, wearing all black clothing and armed with a handgun.

Suspect 2 – Black male, 5’9”, 160 lbs


This one happened in the area of 1328 Ashland ave.

Suspect 1 is  a black male, 5’8, 140 lbs short hair and dark clothing

Suspect 2 is a black male, 5’9 150 lbs, long dreads, white shirt

These suspects are going on a robbery spree in Rockford, currently as we type this.
