900 block of Minns Dr in Machesney Park, several emergency personnel were dispatched for a possible pantry fire. Smoke was being reported in the pantry area. Harlem Roscoe and North Park fire departments were dispatched.
Around 3 pm today several emergency personnel were responding to a motorcycle accident with injuries.
It happened in Machesney park, in the area of Creekway Lane and Terrange Trail.
A man on a motorcycle, has crashed near this intersection.
Sounds like a child may have also been on the motorcycle
Injuries were reported.
Avoid the area.

…FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING THROUGH
The National Weather Service in Chicago has issued a
* Flash Flood Watch for portions of north central Illinois and
northeast Illinois, including the following areas, in north
central Illinois, Boone, Ogle, and Winnebago. In northeast
Illinois, Lake IL and McHenry.
* From 7 PM CDT this evening through Monday morning
* Repeated rounds of thunderstorms producing very heavy rainfall
may result in flash flooding.
* Expect rises on area rivers and streams. Flooding of low lying
areas and roadside ditches is possible.
A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
On September 1, 2018 around 8:55 AM, members of the Rockford Police Department responded to the 2700 block of Marshall St. for a report of shots fired.
Officers located a house struck two times by gunfire in the 2700 block. The house was occupied by an adult woman and her young child. They were uninjured by gunfire. There were several adult males outside the house, in the driveway, that were also uninjured.
Witnesses described the shots were fired from a full size pickup truck that fled south bound on Marshall St. after the shots were fired. This investigation is still ongoing.
