Rockford Scanner™: Possible Structure Fire in Rockford



Just after 6:40 pm, multiple units were dispatched for a possible structure fire in the 4100 block of Cushman Rd in Rockford, IL.  Call reported there was a fire in his stove and that he was grabbing his dog and evacuating.  Emergency personnel are en route.  Still developing.

UPDATE:  Emergency personnel on scene are reporting no smoke or flames are visible on three sides of the house.  They will be investigating further.  The call has since been downgraded to just a single engine and all others can return.

Just after 5:30 pm, a medical call came in at the Flying J in South Beloit, IL for a passed out male in a vehicle.  Emergency personnel are en route.  Still developing.








Rockford Scanner™: Possible Structure Fire in Rockford



Just after 5:15 pm, a call came in for a possible structure fire around the area fo 4121 Auburn St in Rockford.  Emergency personnel are en route/on scene.  It is a two story apartment building with no smoke or fire showing from two sides.  They are investigating.  Still developing.  Please avoid the area.  








Rockford Scanner™: Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Parts of Wisconsin



The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch just to the north of the Stateline for a line of thunderstorms that will be tracking to the east this afternoon and evening.  A few areas immediately along the Stateline might see some scattered showers and storms from the trailing end of the line.

Across Wisconsins, hail the size of limes and winds up to 70 mph are possible.

 


 

 




Rockford Scanner™: Medical Call Rockton Athletic Field


 

UPDATE:  Treatment was refused.  EMS returning to station.

Just after 4pm, there was a medical call at the Rockton Athletic fields for a older gentleman that has passed out.  Emergency personnel just arrived on scene.








Rockford Scanner™: Very Serious Accident, Several People Injured & Extrication Needed



 

 

 

Several sources were reporting a very serious accident this afternoon. 

It happened around 1:20 pm near Hammertime, 

near Business 20 and Andersen.  

Several people were reported to be injured and several ambulances were dispatched to the scene. 

Extrication crew was also requested to cut at least one person out of the vehicle. 

The cause of the accident is under investigation

Information: Temporary No Wake Order Lifted

Time: 1000 Hours

 

Sheriff Gary Caruana has lifted the Temporary No Wake Order for the Rock River in Winnebago County effective immediately. The Sheriff’s office says river levels dropped overnight, prompting the Sheriff to rescind the No Wake Order.

As always, caution should be exercised in all areas when enjoying the river. Limit alcohol consumption and be aware of other boaters. For current river conditions and updates, contact the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office at the Rock River Information Line at (815) 319-6444.

Rockford Scanner™: Accident in Rockton



UPDATE:  Three total victims.  Two are sign offs, no injuries.  The third is being evaluated by paramedics. 

UPDATE:  Two vehicles on all fours (aka, not a rollover). Everyone is out of the vehicles.  Still unknown on injuries at this time.  They are staging all oncoming emergency personnel on E Gleasman Rd.

Just after 10:50 am, a call came in of a two vehicle crash at Main St and Gleasman Rd.  Rockton Fire department is en route/on scene.  Please avoid the area and find an alternative route.  Unknown on injuries at this time.  

 








Rockford Scanner™: MABAS Toned Out For A Structure Fire With Someone Possibly Trapped Inside

UPDATE:  RS fans are still reporting that Yale Bridge Rd still is closed.  Please avoid the area and find an alternative route.

Earlier today the Rockton FD were dispatched for a structure fire with someone possibly trapped inside.  It happened in the area of Yale Bridge.

When emergency personnel were on scene, they confirmed a fire and no one was inside.

A MABAS was toned out and several area fire departments were responding to assist.
