Rockford Scanner™: Possible Shooting and Standoff in Rockford

UPDATE:

On June 2, 2018 at 5:30 a.m. officers of the Rockford Police Department responded to the 900 block of N. Rockton reference a shot fired. Upon arrival officers met with a woman who reported a female just shot at her. The victim said the suspect went into a house in the area after the shooting. While on scene, officers met with people in the area who reported there may be other subjects in the house with the shooting suspect. At 10:15 a.m. the suspect in the shooting, Dominique Patterson, came to the Winnebago County Criminal Justice Center and requested to talk to the police. She was taken to District Two-Detective Bureau.

Officers remained on scene in the 900 block of N. Rockton and at 11:40 a.m. another subject, Larry Gary, came out of the house. A search of the home resulted in the recovery of one gun and a quantity of ammunition. A second gun was recovered in a nearby yard. Both guns were reported stolen.
