Robbery Arrest: Boone County Man Arrested on Robbery Charges, and Stolen Property

On Thursday, May 17, 2018, The Boone County Sheriff’s Department arrested a subject on multiple burglary and theft charges.

Adam Jackson, 44 years old, of Rockford Illinois, was charged with three counts of Burglary (Class 2 Felony) and one count of Theft (Class 3 Felony). Jackson remains in the Boone County Jail on a $150,000.00 (10%) Bond.

Jackson is believed to be responsible for three burglaries to the Farm & Fleet Store, 6674 Logan Avenue, Belvidere. The break-ins occurred on January 9th, January 26th and February 5th, 2018.

On Thursday, May 17, 2018, Boone County Sheriff’s Detectives arrested Jackson at his residence located in the 300 block of Bremer Street, Rockford. Detectives recovered stolen property, including a motorcycle reported stolen from Rockford, at Jackson’s residence. The investigation continues and additional charges are possible.

A Class 2 Felony is punishable by Three (3) to Seven (7) years in the Illinois Department of Corrections. A Class 3 Felony is punishable by Two (2) to Five (5) years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.
