Two Arrested During A Month Long Investigation
Recently the Rockford Police Department Narcotics Unit received information regarding a suspect who was selling crack cocaine. Detectives conducted a month long investigation and were able to identify the suspect as Jonathan Kimble.
On Monday, March 19, 2018, Detectives conducted a traffic stop on Jonathan Kimble and his brother, Quadell Kimble. Both subjects were taken into custody without incident. An amount of crack cocaine was recovered during this investigation.
The investigation was later reviewed by the Winnebago County States Attorney’s Office. As a result the following charges were authorized. Photos of both suspects are attached.
ARRESTED: Jonathan Kimble 32-years-old Rockford, IL
CHARGES: Delivery of a Controlled Substance (2 Counts)
ARRESTED: Quadell Kimble 27-years-old Rockford, IL
CHARGE: Failure to Appear Warrant (Unlawful Use of Credit Card)
The charges against the suspects are merely accusations and not evidence of their guilt. As with defendants in all criminal cases they are considered innocent unless proven guilty in court.
