On Monday, May 15, 2017 at approximately 1:00 a.m., officers of the Rockford Police Department responded to the 1100 block of Campus Hills Road in reference to a burglary in progress.
Upon arrival, responding officers located a subject, later identified as 34-year-old Sebastian Jensen, running from the residence. Officers ordered Jensen to stop, but he continued to flee. Responding officers pursued Jensen on foot for a short distance before Jensen was taken into custody.
Jenson, a Machesney Park resident, was transported to the Winnebago County Jail and lodged on the following charges; residential burglary, burglary to motor vehicle, possession of drug equipment and resisting a peace officer.

The charges against Jensen are merely accusations and they are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law
At approximately 12:54 AM officers of the Rockford Police Department responded to 1103 Campus Hills Blvd. reference to a Residential Burglary in Progress. The victim / caller stated that they could hear noises coming from the kitchen area of their house and barricaded themselves in their bedroom. Officers were in the area when the call came out and upon arrival they began to approach the residence on foot. As officers approached the residence they observed a suspect in front of the residence near the driveway carrying a large object. The suspect saw the officers, dropped the large object (later determined to be a flat screen TV) and fled northbound on foot. Officers caught the subject a short distance from the house and took him into custody without incident. The suspect was transported to District 2 for further investigation. Investigation pending.
