On Monday April 3, 2017 at approximately 11:50 am Boone County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a residence in 9300 block of Ridgeview Road in Boone County in reference to an Armed Robbery and Home Invasion with possible shots being fired.
Upon arrival Deputies located the victim of the Home Invasion who stated that she was held at gun point by three black males who had entered her residence looking for cash. The three suspects fled the residence after obtaining jewelry and an undisclosed amount of cash.
Boone County Sheriff’s Detectives responded to the scene as well as an Illinois State Police K9 team and conducted a thorough search of the area. At this time the three suspects remain at large.
Suspect # 1 is a black male, approximately 5’10’ and slender build wearing a dark colored bandana over his face with a dark colored zip up coat and armed with a hand gun.
Suspect # 2 is a black male, also 5’10’ and slender build covering his face, he was wearing a dark orange shirt or sweatshirt armed with a black club.
Suspect # 3 is black male with a stocky build dark clothing unknown if he was armed.
The investigation is ongoing and at this time by Boone County Detectives. It is believed they fled the area in a vehicle, possibly an older model blue SUV.
