On 03-04-17 at 2:48 a.m., the Janesville Police and Fire Departments were dispatched to the intersection of E. Court St. and S. Wisconsin St. for a report of a vehicle vs. pedestrian traffic accident.
Upon arrival officers located a 56 year old male lying in the roadway. The male was unresponsive and had suffered severe injuries. The Janesville Fire Department and EMS arrived and transported the male to Mercy Hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.
Officers made contact at the scene with the driver of the vehicle, Michelle Kremske. Michelle failed field sobriety tests and was subsequently arrested for Injury by intoxicated use of a vehicle. Michelle was held at the Rock County Jail pending her initial court appearance.
