On Tuesday December 27, 2016 the Rockford Housing Authority (RHA) Unit of the Rockford Police Department received information from the management and residents in the Blackhawk Housing Development regarding a subject with a gun. The information indicated that the male driver of a blue Jaguar was seen waving a gun around.
At about 12:30 p.m. patrol officers from the RHA Unit were on patrol when they located a blue Jaguar X-type in the 1500 block of Meadow Ct. Officers made contact with the driver, later identified as 25 year old Marquall Flint, and it was determined that he had a suspended driver’s license. Flint was taken into custody and he was subsequently found to be in possession of a loaded handgun and an amount of a substance believed to be marijuana. Flint was later lodged in the Winnebago County Jail and held in lieu of bond on the following charges:

CHARGES: Aggravated Unlawful Use of Weapons (Public Property)
Aggravated Unlawful Use of Weapons by a Gang Member
Unlawful Use of Weapons by a Felon
No Firearm Owner’s Identification (FOID)
Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Deliver
Criminal Trespass to State Supported Property
Driving While Suspended
Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle

The charges against Flint are merely accusations and not evidence of his guilt. As with defendants in all criminal cases Flint is considered innocent unless proven guilty in court.
