At approximately 0838 hours, Rockford Police Officers responded to a call for a stabbing victim in the 4800 block of Flintridge Court. Upon arrival, Officers located a 26 year old female suffering from numerous non-life-threatening cuts/stab wounds. The 26 year old female was transported to a local hospital where she was treated and released. While investigating this incident, a 22 year old female arrived at a different local hospital with numerous non-life-threatening cuts/stab wounds. The 22 year old female was treated and released. The initial investigation indicated that the two females were involved in an altercation in the 4800 block of Flintridge Court (outside) that escalated into both females cutting each other with unknown type knives/blades. Both females were interviewed and released pending further investigation. No further information available at this time.
Just before 9 am this morning the Rockford Fire Department were dispatched to the 4800 Block of Flintridge in reference to a stabbing call. Scanner traffic said a female was stabbed in the leg area. The suspects fled in a Maroon vehicle. Unknown on the severity of the injuries.
