ROCKFORD, Ill. – On 11/19/2016 at about 10:15pm, members of the Rockford Specialized Community Oriented Police Enforcement Team (SCOPE) were on patrol in the 2600 block of Broadway when they were flagged down by a concerned citizen, who wanted to report a domestic dispute involving a male and female in the 2500 block of 15th Avenue. As officers approached the two subjects, the female suddenly fled on foot. Investigation revealed that the male and female were involved in a verbal altercation. Further investigation revealed that the female, identified as 29 year old Rockford resident, Aleasha Grafstrom, was wanted on a probation violation warrant. Officers conducted surveillance on the residence. After a brief period of time, officers observed Grafstrom return to the residence and enter. Officers tried to convince Grafstrom to surrender but she initially refused. After about an hour, she exited the residence and was taken into custody without incident. Grafstrom was charged with the following offenses:
Probation Violation Warrant
Grafstrom was lodged in the Winnebago County Jail.

The charges against Grafstrom are merely accusations. She is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
