On October 11, 2016 around 5:00pm Officers of the Rockford Police Department responded to 2787 McFarland Rd in reference to a possible armed robbery that occurred in the Woodman’s’ parking lot (3155 McFarland) around 3:00pm. Upon arrival officers met with the victim, a 42 year old Asian Female. The victim stated she had been walking to her vehicle in the Woodman’s’ parking lot when she was approached by an unknown race male. The suspect pointed a silver handgun at the victim and demanded she get into her vehicle, which she did. The suspect then demanded the victim drive to her bank. Once there, the suspect, at gunpoint, forced the victim to withdrawal cash from her account. The suspect then forced the victim to drive him back to the area of Olde Creek Rd and Hedgecliff. Once there the suspect took the victims cell phone and driver’s license. The suspect then fled the area on foot.

The victim described the suspect as follows:

Hispanic or black male with medium complexion, approximately 35 years of age, 5’6 / 150lbs brown hair, dark grey coat, grey pants with paint spots on them, bad teeth
