On Sunday, September 25, after 2:00 AM, officers responded to the 300 block of River Lane after being informed of people gathering for a fight. The officers made contact with occupants of a vehicle when they arrived in the area.
An occupant of the vehicle, Brandon S. Anderson (27) of Loves Park, allegedly exited the vehicle carrying a bag & began to run away, but was tackled by officers. After taking him into custody, officers discovered suspected cocaine, Xanax, Vicodin & drug paraphernalia in the bag. Suspected cannabis was also recovered from the vehicle.
Anderson, an Illinois parolee, was charged with:
-Possession with the intent to deliver Cocaine
-Possession with the intent to deliver Vicodin Pills
-Possession with the intent to deliver Xanax Pills
-Possession with the intent to deliver Cannabis
-Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
