HomeLocationOgle County911 Experiencing Issues, Call this Other Number For Emergencies

UPDATE: The 911 phone lines continue to be down throughout the County, including the City of DeKalb. And, it sounds like it will be down all day and well into the night. The good news is that if you dial 911, your call will be answered. The telecommunicator will likely not answer, “911, what is your emergency?” as these calls are being transferred to a non-emergency line.

From the Ogle County Police:
Frontier is experiencing 9-1-1 issues. Calls from all phones will receive a busy signal.

Call 815-732-2136 for emergencies.

Dekalb City 911 lines are down, this is county wide. Please use 815 748 8400 if you need assistance. Unknown how long at this point

Rochelle police: 911 is down in all of Northern Illinois due to a Frontier issue. For emergencies call the fire department directly at 561-2071 or Police Department at 562-2131.
